As a child, Julie watched her parents give their time generously and endlessly to various service groups that touched their social circle. The spirit of giving, just because it was the right thing to do, left an indelible impression upon the young magicienne.
Today, as a result, she regularly volunteers her time to provide charity magic shows, magic workshops, magic classes to those who may not otherwise have access to these sorts of art programs; or to help raise awareness or funds for important community causes. Julie's service as executive director for Magicana - an arts organization dedicated to advancing magic as a performing art - has enabled her to reach out even further.
